Michael Kolfman

Co-founder/Chief Software Architect at Fiducioso Advisors

Michael Kolfman has over 30 years of work experience. From 1990 to 1993, they were the Director of Software Development at ADP - BISG, where they lead the team porting the charting/analytical subsystem of FS Partner to Solaris and Windows, and developed a new approach to computing Black-Scholes model formulas. From 1993 to 2000, they were the VP of Software Development at Multex Systems, Inc., where they designed and implemented an abstraction layer for network protocols. From 2000 to 2005, they were the Senior Software Architect at Multex.com, where they designed and implemented a frontend for quick browsing of earnings estimates and other per entity data. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Architect (VP) at Bank of America, where they designed and implemented a dynamic-compilation kernel for a credit risk system. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Owner at G2.Be, where they implemented high-speed low-latency wordle-like visualization and researched applications of linear genetic programming. Finally, from 2010 to present, they have been the Co-founder/Chief Software Architect at Fiducioso Advisors, where they have designed, coded and brought into production a system for retirement planning based on Monte Carlo simulation, managed a group of 3 on-shore and 5-10 (as needed) offshore programmers, and actively participated in extending analytical underpinnings of the system.

Michael Kolfman received their MS in Bridge Construction from the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction Institute (MADI) in 1983. Michael also attended the Moscow Mining Institute for Applied Physics.
