Dr Prakash Challa

Dr Prakash Challa has a long and varied work history. Beginning in 1985, they were a Senior Engineer at Wipro Infotech. Dr Prakash then moved to Tata Consultancy Services as a Consultant and Group Leader in 1987. In 1993 they joined IMRGlobal/CGI as a Senior Vice President in Solutions and Delivery. Dr Prakash then moved to Tech Mahindra (formerly Mahindra Satyam) in 2002 as a Senior Vice President, and eventually became CEO in 2004. In 2009 they became President at Hinduja Tech Limited, and in 2011 they were both a Senior Vice President at Birlasoft Inc. and Vice President at HCL America Inc. In 2013 they became President of FiduSys LLC, and in 2017 they became Partner at Consequent, where they are focused on helping large organizations transform better and faster.

Dr Prakash Challa's education history began in 1971 when they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for high school. In 1974, they attended Loyola College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science in Mathematics. In 1979, they attended Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where they earned a DIIT in Computer Science & Data Processing. Dr Prakash then returned to Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1980 to pursue a PhD in Software Engineering with a focus on Software Quality, Testing & Reliability, which they completed in 1985.
