Risuna Maluleke

Risuna Maluleke is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of the African Entrepreneurship Development Corporation since July 2023, Maluleke also holds the position of President and Chief Entrepreneurship Officer at the Young African Entrepreneurs Institute since May 2018. Additional roles include Audit and Risk Committee Member of the Field Band Foundation in South Africa and a former Director at Edtek Solutions. Maluleke has contributed as a member of the Wits Innovation Strategy Advisory Task Team and has served as a Non-Executive Director for the Pan African Information Communication Technology Association. Educational qualifications include a Master of Management in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation from Wits Business School, alongside degrees in Business Science and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand.
