Ben Richards

Ben Richards has significant experience in operations management and process improvement. Ben is currently the Head of Operations UK at Field International Group Limited since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Operations at Bell Plastics Ltd from 2020 to 2023. From 2011 to 2020, they held various roles at Magellan Aerospace Limited, including Operations Support Manager, Production Control Centre Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Lean Practitioner / 6 Sigma Green Belt, and Apprentice.

Ben Richards attended Twynham from 2002 to 2009, where they completed their GCSEs and A Levels. From 2009 to 2011, they studied at Brockenhurst College, earning a degree in BTEC Sports Performance and Excellence. Ben then attended Bournemouth and Poole College from 2011 to 2015, obtaining a degree in Engineering BTEC/NVQ/HNC, with a focus on HNC Manufacturing Management. In 2015, they enrolled in Bournemouth and Poole College again, completing a degree in FEng Engineering Manufacturing Management from 2015 to 2016. Lastly, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering at Bournemouth University from 2016 to 2018.
