Roya Kamali

Roya Kamali, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Clinical Science at Field Medical, where responsibilities include designing preclinical studies related to the FieldForce ablation system. Prior experience includes work as a Research and Development Engineer at Abbott, contributing to the development of advanced sensors, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology, collaborating on AI algorithms for transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Additional roles at the University of Utah involved patent submissions for innovative medical devices and extensive research in cardiac device design. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Utah, along with a Bachelor's degree from Sharif University of Technology.
