Arif Smith

Research Associate, Keller Science Action Center at FIELD MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

Arif Smith is an experienced program manager and researcher with a diverse background in the arts and education. Currently serving as Program Manager at Old Town School of Folk Music and Research Associate at The Field Museum, Arif has previously held roles including Artist-in-Residence at the University of Chicago and Program Manager at Changing Worlds. As Producer for the Chicago Home Theater Festival, Arif contributed to addressing cultural segregation and social isolation in Chicago. Arif has also been involved with SixTwelve in Oklahoma City as a Board member and has a solid educational foundation with degrees in Psychology from Oklahoma State University and Performance Studies from Northwestern University.
