Bridgette Russell, APR, is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at the Field Museum since May 2021. In this role, Bridgette leads initiatives in content creation, media relations, branding, and audience insights. Prior to this position, Bridgette held various roles including Public Relations and Communications Director at the Field Museum, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at The Columbus Museum, and Communications Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Southern Rivers. Bridgette's background also includes work in journalism, serving as a courts reporter and education reporter, as well as roles in publicity strategy and marketing coordination for nonprofits. Bridgette holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, a Certificate in Advertising and Public Relations from DePaul University, and a B.A. in print journalism from Texas Southern University.
