Christina Thompson

Christina Thompson is an experienced professional in the museum and anthropology sectors, currently serving as an Anthropology Collections and Registration Assistant at the Field Museum since May 2022. Prior to this role, Christina worked as a Museum Technician at the State Historical Society of Iowa and held various positions at Living History Farms, including Interim Flynn Farm Domestic Coordinator and Historical Interpreter Associate. Christina's background also includes experience at New York University as a Ticket Services Administrative Assistant and Collections Intern, as well as earlier roles in ticketing and technical theatre at Wartburg College and Newton Senior High School. Christina holds a Master of Arts in Humanities and Social Thought with an Advanced Certificate in Museum Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeological Studies from Wartburg College, complemented by minors in French, Intercultural Studies, and Leadership.
