Jessica Wadleigh

Jessica Wadleigh is an experienced professional in the field of biology, specializing in entomology and environmental education. Currently serving as a Collections Assistant in the Insect department at The Field Museum since August 2020, Jessica manages research loans, curation, and digitization of insect specimens. Previous roles include Bug Zoo Specialist at The Field Museum, where responsibilities included maintaining live insect exhibits and conducting educational presentations. With a background in guest experiences at the Museum of Science and Industry and program instruction at the Evanston Ecology Center, Jessica also possesses extensive volunteer and internship experience in research and animal care. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Elmhurst University and multiple certifications in naturalist skills and wildlife management.
