Ryan Pickerill

Ryan Pickerill currently serves as the Family Learning Experiences Administrator at the Field Museum since September 2023. Previously, Ryan held the position of Education Lead at the Burpee Museum of Natural History from July 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the education department and developing educational content. Prior experience includes a role as Big River Connectivity Intern at Project Coyote, focusing on rewilding research, and serving as a Hockey Instructor and League Supervisor at the Rockford Park District. Ryan's background also encompasses landscape design experience with The Collaborative and multiple roles in the Capital Planning Department at the Rockford Park District. Educational credentials include a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University.
