Ed Hutchings

Ed Hutchings is an experienced tour guide and educator with a strong background in environmental engagement and hospitality management. Since March 2014, Ed has led tours focusing on natural attractions and wildlife through positions at The Travelling Naturalist, Greentours, and Asian Adventures. In addition, Ed has been an associate tutor at the Field Studies Council since March 2017, developing and delivering outdoor learning activities. As a freelance journalist and web content writer, Ed has honed skills in research, writing, and content promotion. Previous roles include field ornithologist for the British Trust for Ornithology and information assistant for the RSPB, showcasing a commitment to wildlife conservation and education. Ed’s educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management from the University of Portsmouth and a Level 3 Diploma in Countryside Management from Smart Training.
