Nature Writing, Botanical Folklore Tutor And Course Designer at Field Studies Council

Woody River is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching English language and literature, as well as creative writing, to international students. Currently, Woody River teaches at Woody River Education, focusing on various entrance exams and curriculum levels, while also facilitating nature writing and botanical folklore courses at the Field Studies Council. As a literature tutor and course designer at City Lit, Woody River creates online courses in world and English literature. Previous positions include English teacher roles at Britannica International School and The British School of Lomé, where leadership in the English department was also demonstrated. Prior experience includes extensive course development and tutoring in literature across multiple institutions, alongside work as an academic proofreader and copy editor for Florence Production Ltd. Woody River holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing, an MA in Creative Writing with English Literature, and a CELTA certification.
