K. Jeramy Hughes is an experienced professional with a background in atomic, molecular, and optical physics. Hughes has worked in a variety of roles including Chief Executive Officer at FieldLine Industries, Head of Engineering and Chief Product Officer at FieldLine Medical, and Senior Scientist at QuSpin. With a Ph.D. in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical physics from the University of Virginia, Hughes has led research efforts in cold atom technologies, spectroscopy, and laser science throughout their career.
