Tobias Järlund

Tobias Järlund has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tobias is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Fieldstream since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Schibsted for five years as a Senior Engineering Manager, starting in September 2016 and ending in November 2021. Before joining Schibsted, Tobias held various roles at Aftonbladet Hierta AB, including Head of Software Engineering, Lead Developer, and Systems Developer. Tobias worked at Aftonbladet from 2006 to 2016. Tobias also worked as a Systems Developer at Stockholm University from 1999 to 2006 and as a Course Coordinator at Sjöviks folkhögsskola from 1999 to 2006.

Tobias Järlund attended Stockholm University from 1994 to 1995, where they studied Russian. In 1997, they returned to Stockholm University and pursued two different fields of study. Tobias completed a course in Swedish in the same year, and also studied Computer and Systems Sciences until 2001. After completing their formal education, Tobias obtained additional certifications in the field of programming. In November 2013, they completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course offered by Coursera. In December 2013, they also obtained a certification for the "Principles of Reactive Programming" course, also from Coursera.
