Rohit Mathur has been in the technology industry since 1988. Rohit began their career as a Developer at Churchill Insurance and then moved to IBM as a Software Engineer in 1990. In 1993, they became a Consultant at Citibank and then Vice President at Merrill Lynch in 1994. In 1998, they founded Open Software Technology, a Business Intelligence company for the Financial Services Industry, and was CEO until it was acquired by Open Text NASDAQ in 2006. After that, they became the Director of Equity Derivatives Technology at Merrill Lynch, responsible for Technology development & operations for platforms supporting Trading, Risk Management and Sales. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded FieldWorker, a platform for Social Service, I/DD & Mental health Agencies, delivering better quality of care with margin growth & high customer satisfaction.
Rohit Mathur attended Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a MS in Computer Science. In 1986, they completed a research/internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in Computer Science/Computer Aided Design. Rohit also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kanpur, and the University of Allahabad, where they studied Physics.
