Esther van Garderen

Esther van Garderen currently serves as the Algemeen directeur at Fietsersbond and the Voorzitter of Fietsplatform, with additional roles as a member of the General Board of De Nederlandse Associatie and as a member of the Supervisory Board for Sustainable Living at AT Osborne. Esther has extensive experience in urban policy and mobility, holding senior strategic positions at Gemeente Almere, including programmamanager for the Floriade 2022. Previous roles include process management for the Knooppunt Hoevelaken project and strategic advising for urban accessibility in Almere. Esther also has a background in interim management for local and regional governments, specializing in accessibility and spatial development. Esther holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
