Razvan Burleanu

Razvan Burleanu currently serves as the President of the Federatia Romana de Fotbal since March 2014 and is a FIFA Council member since April 2021, contributing to the strategic direction of football globally. Previously, Burleanu held significant roles within UEFA, including Chairman of the Media Committee and the EU Working Group, and Vice-chairman of the Marketing Advisory Committee from July 2015 to June 2023. Burleanu's leadership experience extends to the European Minifootball Federation, where a presidency was held from March 2012 to January 2017, and involvement with FIFA's Organising Committee for the Olympic Football Tournaments and the European Commission's High-Level Group on Sport Diplomacy. Educational qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Political Science and several master's degrees in International Relations and Sport Governance.
