Fifth Avenue Committee
Alexander Hernandez is a Contract Management Associate at Fifth Avenue Committee since January 2023. Prior to this, Alexander worked as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's from July 2016 to October 2023, where responsibilities included managing inventory and enhancing customer satisfaction. Alexander also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity International in April 2011, participating in construction projects for families in need. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Lehman College (2021-2023) and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from City Tech, CUNY (2017-2019).

Fifth Avenue Committee, Inc. (FAC) is a non-profit comprehensive community development corporation and chartered NeighborWorks America member in South Brooklyn that advances economic and social justice by building vibrant, diverse communities where residents have genuine opportunities to achieve their goals, as well as the power to shape the community’s future. Founded in 1978, FAC works to transform the lives of over 5,500 low- and moderate-income New Yorkers annually so that we can all live and work with dignity and respect while making our community more equitable, sustainable, inclusive, and just. To achieve our mission, FAC develops and manages affordable housing and community facilities, creates economic opportunities and ensures access to economic stability, organizes residents and workers, offers student-centered adult education, and combats displacement caused by gentrification.
