Evalevi Lopez is a Benefits Specialist at Fifth Avenue Committee since October 2011, responsible for managing a caseload and facilitating referrals to various agencies and services. Additionally, Evalevi coordinates weekly service events that include legal, health navigator, and financial coaching resources. Prior to this role, Evalevi worked as a Tenant Advocate, mediating disputes between tenants and landlords, conducting intake screenings, and advising on housing rights and eviction prevention. Evalevi's earlier experience includes serving as a Tenant Program Assistant/Receptionist at Neighbors Helping Neighbors from January 2005 to September 2011, where customer service and tenant consultation were key responsibilities. Evalevi holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Computer Network Technology from Borough of Manhattan Community College, earned between 2017 and 2021.

(FAC) is a non-profit comprehensive community development corporation and chartered NeighborWorks America member in South Brooklyn that advances economic and social justice by building vibrant, diverse communities where residents have genuine opportunities to achieve their goals, as well as the power to shape the community’s future. Founded in 1978, FAC works to transform the lives of over 5,500 low- and moderate-income New Yorkers annually so that we can all live and work with dignity and respect while making our community more equitable, sustainable, inclusive, and just. To achieve our mission, FAC develops and manages affordable housing and community facilities, creates economic opportunities and ensures access to economic stability, organizes residents and workers, offers student-centered adult education, and combats displacement caused by gentrification.
