Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology strategy and process optimization. Currently serving as Vice President - Director of Process Optimization at Fifth Third Bank since December 2021, Chris is focused on engineering AI enablement and enhancing performance within the Consumer Bank. Previously, Chris held various roles at Kroger, including Vice President - Director of Technology Strategy and Sr. Manager of Software Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed leading the Coupa Platform with significant budget oversight and user management. Chris's earlier career at Atos, spanning from 2002 to 2018, included roles such as Quality & Innovation Director for the Morgan Stanley Account, overseeing multiple cross-functional areas and managing large teams across global call center operations. Chris holds an MBA from Xavier University's Williams College of Business and a Regents Bachelor of Arts from Marshall University.
