Clint Balsar

Studio Class Instructor at Figge Art Museum

Clint Balsar is an experienced art educator and photographer. Clint has been teaching at Davenport Community Schools since August 1997, specializing in visual and communication/media arts. Clint also serves as the Art Department Chairperson at Central High School and is the Lead Artist in Studio Photography/Graphic Design at Monroe Elementary. In addition to their teaching roles, Clint owns Balsar Photography and has served as a judge for the 2017 Iowa State Fair Photography Salon. Clint's educational background includes a BA in Art Education from Iowa State University, an MA in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University, and various additional coursework in animation and STEM innovation in education.
