Loredana Crisan

Loredana Crisan is the Chief Design Officer at Figma since September 2025. Prior to this role, Loredana served at Meta from May 2016 to September 2025, holding positions such as VP of Product for GenAI Products and VP, Head of Messenger and Instagram DMs, where leadership encompassed product, design, engineering, and data science. Key achievements included the implementation of features like custom reactions and end-to-end encryption. Earlier experience includes serving as Mobile Design Director at Indiegogo, where Loredana led the mobile app design and launched Generosity, and as Director of User Experience at Blazing Cloud, establishing the UX team before its acquisition by Indiegogo. Additional roles encompass various design and user experience positions at Thinknoise Creative, Laszlo Systems, Lexy, and SF Soundworks. Loredana has a background in music education from Universitatea de Muzică din București.
