Sheila Joglekar Vashee

Sheila Joglekar Vashee serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Figma since August 2023 and is a Venture Partner at Basis Set, where guidance is provided on marketing strategy for various portfolio companies. As an Investing Partner, Sheila evaluates early-stage ventures, particularly in AI and the future of work. With a commitment to empowering women leaders in technology, Sheila is a Founding Board Member of Persistence. Previously, Sheila held the CMO and GM roles at Ethos, where Sheila reshaped marketing and growth for the life insurance sector, and served as VP of Growth and Marketing at Opendoor, leading expansion efforts. Experience also includes significant contributions at Dropbox, Apple, Gap Inc., and Morgan Stanley, complemented by a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
