Daniel Sunderland

Daniel Sunderland is an accomplished professional in the textile and product development industry, currently serving as Raw Materials Lead at FIGS since December 2022, after progression from the Raw Materials Associate role. Previously, Daniel held positions as an R&D Textile Engineer and a Product Development Sourcing/Testing Associate at Ruggable, focusing on enhancing product offerings and managing regulatory testing. Notable experience includes work as a Supply Chain Analyst Intern at bluesign technologies ag, where support was provided to brands in understanding and mitigating environmental risks within their textile supply chains. Daniel also participated in a sustainability project at Under Armour, researched business opportunities at Hua Feng Textile Group, and gained technical experience through internships at Guilford Performance Textiles and Boathouse Sports. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Sports Product Management from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Industrial Engineering from Thomas Jefferson University.
