John Caruso

John Caruso is an experienced design and brand strategy professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Concept and Design at FIGS since December 2022. Prior to this role, John operated his own consulting firm, JOHN CARUSO LLC BRAND CONSULTING, from July 2020 to February 2023, where key projects included brand development for East Deck and collaborations for Vineyard Vines. Previous positions include leadership roles at Gap, where John was Head of Global Men's and Women's Design, and Tommy Hilfiger, where John held the position of Vice President of Design. Earlier experience includes directing men's design at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. and serving as an assistant designer at J.Crew. John Caruso holds an AAS in Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design and a JD from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, as well as a BA in Political Science from the University of Detroit Mercy.
