Geoff Trask has extensive work experience in the ICT industry. Geoff was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Figure8 in 2021, where they focus on enhancing the company's commercial approach for client success in the cloud. Prior to this role, Geoff worked at Datacom for over 10 years, serving as the General Manager of Customer Engagement until February 2021. Geoff has also held leadership positions at IT companies including Lexel, Infinity Solutions, and Trilogy. Additionally, Geoff has been a Director at Elevation7 Limited since October 2022.
Geoff Trask attended Rathkeal from 1975 to 1981, where they earned a 6th Form Certificate. Subsequently, from 1981 to 1985, they pursued higher education at Wellington College of Education, obtaining an NZSC degree in IT.

Consolidation within the industry has resulted in the polarisation of service providers. Providers are either large and focused on enterprise clients, or small and focused on the small and medium sized market. In contrast, Figure8 is a small independent consultancy that focuses solely on the enterprise market. OUR OBJECTIVES: Figure8 understands IT infrastructure, and will; • Add transparency to vendor relationship • Re-negotiate contracts for cost-reduction • Provide technical excellence to shake-up existing teams and vendors • Provide independent architecture and project management to bring together the components of successful project delivery • Bring our passion for IT into your infrastructure
