Avshiek Neel Chand

Avshiek Neel Chand, CPA (Aust.), currently serves as the Manager of Treasury Operations at Fiji Airways since October 2022, where responsibilities include daily cashflow reporting, multi-currency forecasts, and collaboration with stakeholders to optimize financial operations. Previously, as the Manager of Finance and Procurement at Basic Industries from December 2020 to September 2022, Avshiek oversaw the month-end processes and led the finance team. Avshiek's earlier experience includes over five years at KPMG, where positions ranged from Graduate Accountant to Assistant Manager in Tax, Transaction & Accounting, along with operational roles at Laucala Island. Educational qualifications include a CPA Australia Program and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of the South Pacific.
