Alitia Elima Lei Temo Vunidaiga is an accomplished civil engineer with comprehensive experience in road infrastructure and project management. Since July 2017, Vunidaiga has served as the Acting Works Manager and Works Inspector at the Fiji Roads Authority, where involvement in the SARUP01 project has led to significant road rehabilitation efforts. Prior experience includes roles as an Operations Assistant at the Asian Development Bank and a Blackspots Analyst at the Ministry of Transport and Roads Infrastructure. Vunidaiga began a career in civil engineering with a solid educational foundation from Fiji National University, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Fiji Roads Authority maintains,operates and is responsible for Fiji's road network. This means we manage, operate and maintain approximately11000km of road. On these 11000km of road sits 1000+ bridges, 41 traffic signals, 45 jetties and 9000+ streetlights. We started our operations with 7 employees in January of 2013. Today (2015) we have grown to a staff of 35 civil engineers, transport planners, accountants, administration personnel, surveyors and community advocates. Together with our consultants and contractors, we work to lift the profile of Fiji's road network.
