Sailosi Batiratu has a diverse work experience. In 1988, they started as an apprentice at Fiji Sugar Corporation and worked there until 1991. Sailosi then joined the University of the South Pacific in 2001 as a course development assistant, where they remained until 2006. In 2008, Sailosi joined Fiji Times Ltd as a deputy chief sub editor and continued in that role until 2012. In 2018, they took on the role of Director at both Pacific Theological College and PTC (Pacific Theological College) Extension Education. These positions demonstrate Sailosi's expertise in education, journalism, and management.
Sailosi Batiratu attended the University of the South Pacific from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Sailosi'sareas of study focused on Business Administration and Management as well as History-Politics.
