Thomas Farrell

Thomas Farrell has extensive experience in explosion protection and aerospace engineering, currently serving as Manager of Test and Validation at Fike Corporation since January 2007. In this role, Thomas directs large-scale explosion fundamentals research projects, plans and executes validation test programs following CEN and NFPA standards, and manages a full-scale explosion research facility. Thomas also develops testing software in LabVIEW, maintains code libraries, and collaborates on intellectual property protection. Previously, Thomas was a Partner/Owner at Empirical Systems Aerospace, focusing on designing and testing aerospace systems and developing custom data acquisition technologies. Thomas holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
