Karthik Sekar

Karthik Sekar is a Lead Software Engineer at FileInvite. Karthik was previously a Senior Software Developer at Stuff from December 2019 to January 2021, where they worked on the Neighbourly platform as a Fullstack developer. Karthik also took the initiative to create an ExpressJS middleware for the groups' feature of the app so different parts of the application could be created as standalone micro frontends using React. Prior to that, they were a Senior Fullstack Developer at MetaGame Technologies from January 2019 to December 2019, where they built a multi-tenant white-labeled user engagement platform for esports and gaming industry from bare-bones to the commercialisation phase. Karthik also converted the server-side Laravel application into a Vue.js single page application and introduced Vuex for better state management. In addition, they built a game quests and challenges system with a leaderboard and score verification using League of Legends game API integration. Lastly, they made a theme builder in Vue.js to style the default theme so smaller activations could be launched rapidly.

Karthik Sekar has a Nanodegree in Data Engineering from Udacity, a PGDiploma in Computer Science from University of Otago, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Anna University.
