Abby Malson

Abby Malson began their work experience as a Contractor for Diamond Resorts at Eastridge Infotech in August 2008. In October 2008, they joined PartnerWeekly as a PHP Developer and worked there until January 2011. From January 2011 to October 2011, Abby worked as a Software Developer for Rapid Crush, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of system platforms. Abby then joined Marketing Media Adventures in October 2011 as a Developer, where they developed and maintained company web applications using Zend Framework, MySQL, and Postgres. Abby also worked on improving the accessibility of web applications for mobile phone users. From April 2013 to February 2015, Abby worked as a Software Engineer at Research Square, developing and maintaining existing website architecture for the global research community. Abby joined EchoStar Corporation in September 2015 as a Build Engineer, where they deployed war files on Tomcat servers and managed the release process for software releases and server upgrades. Abby also worked on configuring servers and build system environments. In 2017, Abby joined Dish Network as a Build Engineer/Release Manager for a brief period. Abby then joined Weedmaps in June 2017 as a Senior Build and Release Engineer, managing the release pipeline and updating workflow to allow for automated QA testing. In May 2019, Abby transitioned to the role of a Site Reliability Engineer at Weedmaps. In April 2019, they also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Denver Boot Camps. Currently, Abby works at Filevine as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, starting in September 2021.

Abby Malson obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from East Carolina University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
