Victoria Romm has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of database architecture and management. Victoria started their career as a Software Consultant at Software Partners in 1997, where they designed and implemented a Vaccine Registry Application using PowerBuilder and Sybase. Victoria then worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Stellcom, focusing on production database administration and troubleshooting.
In 2003, Victoria joined Enviance (USA) as a Senior Database Architect, leading the database development and administration efforts for data warehousing and transaction processing. Victoria also designed and implemented the corporate data warehouse and dynamic reports.
From 2001 to 2009, Victoria served as a Senior DBA and Database Architect at First American, where they maintained and provided support for SQL Server databases. Victoria also worked on requirements analysis, application design, and automation scripting for database release packages.
At Amobee, Victoria held the role of Senior Database Architect from 2009 to 2016. Victoria'sresponsibilities included all aspects of the SQL server life cycle, environment setup, requirement gathering, development, mentorship, and production troubleshooting.
From 2017 to 2019, Victoria worked at Certona as a Senior Database Architect and DBA Lead. Victoria was responsible for the support and development of highly transactional systems with over 1200 databases. Victoria developed automation processes for database synchronization and space management.
In 2019, Victoria joined Enviance as a Senior SQL Architect, focusing on SQL database architecture.
Most recently, Victoria has been working at Filevine since 2020. Victoria started as a Principal Database Reliability Engineer and Lead, responsible for database architecture and reliability engineering. In 2022, they became the Database Architect and Database Reliability Engineering Manager for the company.
Victoria Romm received their Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Transport Institute (MTI) from 1987 to 1992. In addition, they obtained certifications in "Designing Database Solutions for SQL Server 2012" and "Securing SQL Server 2012" from LinkedIn in October 2016.
