Timur Taluy

Timur Taluy has extensive experience in the finance and technology industries. Timur began their career as an engineer at IBM in 1998. In 1996, they co-founded FileYourTaxes.com, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer and lead technical architect. In 2007, they became the Chair of the Board of Directors of CBC Federal Credit Union, and in 2006 they joined the Board of United Way of Ventura County. In 2011, they were appointed as a Member of the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC) of the US Treasury. In 2012, they became a Member of the Board of Governors of the USC Alumni Association. In 2014, they joined CERCA as Vice-Chair of its Board. In 2019, they were a speaker at the IRS Nationwide Tax Forum, and in 2020 they were appointed Vice-Chair of the ETAAC of the US Treasury.

Timur Taluy received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1998, having attended the school from 1994 to 1998. Timur also attended Oxnard High School from 1990 to 1994.
