Samuel Hale

Samuel Hale has a diverse work experience in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. Samuel is currently working at Fillauer Companies as the Vice President of Product Development and Education since July 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Product Development & Education at Fillauer Companies Inc. from May 2016 to July 2023, and Director of Prosthetics from September 2013 to May 2016. Before joining Fillauer Companies, Samuel worked at Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Prosthetist Orthotist from April 2013 to September 2013. Samuel also has experience at Midlands Prosthetics and Orthotics as a Prosthetist Orthotist from May 2006 to April 2013. Samuel'searlier experience includes an internship at Faith Prosthetic-Orthotic Services in 2005 and an engineering co-op role at Kimberly-Clark from August 2000 to August 2002, where they contributed to designing machine parts and safety equipment using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Samuel Hale began their education in 1999 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Samuel completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. In 2004, Samuel enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology once again, this time for a Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics, which they completed in 2006. During the same year, they also spent a brief period at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, studying Spanish.
