Julia First

Julia First is an accomplished professional with a strong background in the entertainment industry and media. Currently serving as a Script Reader for Film Independent since October 2025, Julia provides detailed coverage of feature scripts. As the Founder of Bedwetters Magazine, Julia leads editorial and creative teams, overseeing content creation for a comedy zine. Previous experiences include roles as an Assistant at Atlas Talent Agency, an Editor for Less College Stress Consulting, and a Security Attendant at The Wilbur. Julia has also contributed as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Cambridge Community Television and watchMedia Network. Notably, Julia served as Head Writer for the sitcom Third Bird Comedy at EmChan and held the position of President at Derbyn Comedy. Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College, obtained in May 2025.
