Sandeep Varma

Sandeep Varma has been working in the film and advertising industry since 1993. Sandeep began their career as a Management Trainee/Assistant Manager at ITC Ltd. In 1994, they moved to Unilever as an Assistant Manager. In 1996, they joined Lintas as a Strategic and Account Planning Supervisor. In 1997, they worked at Mudra Communications as an Account Supervisor/Associate Copy Chief. In 2001, they became the Managing Director at ICOMO Advertising, where they ran a full-fledged advertising agency/ad production house. Sandeep also worked as an Independent Filmmaker at Film Independent, where they usually plunged headlong into film projects they believed in and often led the writing himself. In 2017, they founded Filmboard Movies.

Sandeep Varma's education history includes a MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi, obtained in 1993. Prior to this, they earned a BE and MSc. Hons in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani between 1986 and 1991. Their educational journey began at St. Columba's School, where they obtained an ICSE in Science.
