Christopher Cassetta

Christopher Cassetta has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, primarily focusing on operations and distribution for OTT platforms. Christopher began their career at the Virginia Film Office as an intern, where they were responsible for location scouting and script breakdowns. Christopher then moved on to work as an intern at Wayfare Entertainment Ventures, performing various office tasks and covering media for potential development.

Cassetta gained further experience as a script reader at FilmNation Entertainment LLC before joining Creative World Awards as a screenwriting competition judge, providing feedback on submitted scripts and selecting finalists. Christopher also worked as a personal assistant for Rahti Gorfien, organizing schedules and budgets, and proofreading and formatting plays.

In 2014, Cassetta joined iN DEMAND as a quality control associate, managing workflow and training new associates. Christopher later became a coordinator, overseeing a team of quality control associates and assigning high priority assets. At iN DEMAND, they also served as a senior coordinator, responsible for managing media files and preparing trailers for VOD schedules.

Since 2017, Cassetta has been working at FilmRise, initially as a manager and then progressing to director and senior director positions in OTT operations. In their current role as VP of OTT Operations, they are responsible for managing the workflow of the distribution department and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of content to platforms such as The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, and Redbox. Christopher also oversees a team of distribution coordinators and handles communication with platform partners to address any issues and spearhead necessary revisions.

Christopher Cassetta completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2006 to 2009. Christopher then pursued further education at New York University, where they earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Dramatic Writing and Screenwriting from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Christopher obtained a certification in Duolingo Italian Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) in December 2015 from the institution named Duolingo.
