Jorge Abreu

Jorge Abreu has over 33 years of experience in the technology and operations space. Jorge began their career in 1988 as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead and Senior SW Engineer for GTECH Brasil LTDA. From 1999 to 2013, they worked for GTECH Corporation in various roles, including Facility Director - Austin Technology Center, Regional Technology Director - Latin America & Caribbean, Technology Account Manager - Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, and Puerto Rico, Project Manager - Latin America and Caribbean, and Software Engineering Lead. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Commercial Gaming General Manager - Latin America & Caribbean for Gtech S.p.A. From 2015 to 2019, they were the Business Development Senior Director - Latin America & Caribbean for IGT. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Chief Operating Officer for All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response. Currently, they are an Independent Consultant for IntoPurpose Technologies and a Sr. Director - Delivery Implementation for FilmTrack.

Jorge Abreu began their educational journey in 1987, when they attended Colégio Alberto Nepomuceno and earned a High School degree in Accounting. In 1990, they attended FIJ - Faculdades Integradas de Jacarepaguá, where they earned a Technologist degree in Computer Science in 1993. In 2004, they attended Bryant University, where they studied Project Management. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Concordia University Texas, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management. In 2016, they attended St.Edward's University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Organizational Leadership and Change.
