Taylor Thorson

Taylor Thorson is an accomplished horticulturist with a diverse background in horticulture and urban forestry. Currently serving as a Horticulturist at Filoli since September 2022, Taylor previously held positions at Habitat Horticulture, where responsibilities included Greenhouse Manager and Living Wall Technician. Prior experiences include coordinating the Edible Landscaping Internship at Learning By Leading: UC Davis Arboretum and Public Gardens and working as a Horticultural Assistant at UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden. Additionally, Taylor served as an Urban Tree Specialist at Tree Davis. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry from the University of California, Davis, earned in 2020.
