Gregg Scharfstein

Gregg Scharfstein is a seasoned professional in technology commercialization, business operations, and sales, currently serving as the Director of Capacity Planning and Infrastructure Operations at IgniteGTM since May 2024. As a Partner at Fílos Technology, Scharfstein engages closely with clients to address their IT needs. Previous roles include Vice President of Sales at PiKNiK, Director of Business Operations at Seal Storage Technology, and Senior Technology Commercialization Associate at Berkeley Lab, where responsibilities included technology assessment and negotiation of license agreements. Scharfstein has also held leadership positions at Fundraise Up, Hilton International Industries, Flexure Engineering, and Quantum Innovative Technologies. Academic qualifications include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, along with completion of the DOE Energy Innovation Corps training.
