Gerald Kirwa

CPA Gerald Kirwa currently serves as the Country Head for Kenya at Filps Software Design L.L.C since August 2024. Prior to this role, Gerald was the Senior Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Executive at Upesi Money Transfer Limited from February 2022 to July 2024, focusing on cross-border payments. Gerald's experience also includes serving as the Head of Marketing for East Africa at Hawkman Labs from July 2020 to October 2021 in the fintech sector. Previously, from November 2014 to August 2020, Gerald worked as a Growth Market Executive for Africa at UAE Exchange, engaging stakeholders to tailor money transfer products for expatriates. Early in the career, Gerald held positions as an Accountant at Centro Systems Ltd and as an I.T Technical Assistant at Transtech Systems Ltd. Educational qualifications include a CPA from the Summit Institute of Professionals and a Diploma in Computer Studies from the Foundation Institute.
