Arvind Lakshman

Vice President at FIMBank plc

Arvind Lakshman has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Arvind started their career as an Associate Consultant at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, where they worked on the upgrade of Flexcube and a merger between three banks. Arvind was responsible for migration and post-implementation support for retail, interface, and core banking systems. Arvind then became a Senior Consultant at the same bank, where they gathered requirements for customization, served as a single point of contact for client interactions, and implemented a multi-threading strategy for the Interest and Charges End of Day operation.

Later, Arvind joined PBP Bank as a Senior Consultant, where they managed the implementation and support of Flexcube 11.0 and provided support for pre-live issues. Arvind also helped draft strategies to accommodate the bank's products.

Their most recent role was as Vice President at FIMBank plc, where they were responsible for the availability, change management, and health of the core banking system. Arvind managed projects involving Flexcube and the online deposits system, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, and budget.

Throughout their career, Arvind has demonstrated strong technical skills, including customizations on banking systems, gathering requirements, and designing and developing solutions to align with user expectations. Arvind has also served as a Subject Matter Expert for user acceptance testing and post-live issues.

Arvind Lakshman attended Fatima Higher Secondary School from 1993 to 1998, where they completed their Higher Secondary education with a focus on General Studies. Afterward, from 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Pondicherry University. In terms of additional certifications, Arvind Lakshman obtained the Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner certification from APMG-International in June 2015.
