Kanae Gamo

Kanae Gamo has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Kanae co-founded FIMECS, Inc. in 2018 and currently holds the positions of Co-Founder & CSO. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder & Vice President, Biology at FIMECS from 2018 to 2020. Before joining FIMECS, Kanae worked at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd as a Research Scientist from April 2009 to February 2018.

Kanae Gamo holds a Ph.D. in Life and Environmental Sciences from Chiba University Graduate School, which was obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Osaka University from 2007 to 2009. Kanae completed their undergraduate education at Kobe University, where they obtained a B.Sc in Biology from 2003 to 2007.
