Matsi Modise is the Chairwoman at Finclusion Group, and a leading entrepreneur in South Africa. Matsi has been instrumental in promoting and growing entrepreneurship in black underserved communities of South Africa through their work with the South African Black Entrepreneurs Forum (SABEF). In their current role at Finclusion Group, they are working to develop financial inclusion solutions that will help to unlock the economic power of black South African entrepreneurs. Throughout their career, Matsi has been a champion for young people and their potential to make positive contributions to their communities. This was evident in their work as the Founding Curator of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Soweto Hub, where they worked to connect young leaders with opportunities to make an impact. Matsi’s work is driven by their belief that every person has the potential to be a change-maker, and they are committed to supporting young people as they strive to create a better future for themselves and their communities.

Matsi Modise has a B-Com in Finance and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand.
