Alexandre Nguyen

Instructor - Contract at Fin-ML

Alexandre Nguyen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, risk management, and financial analysis. Since November 2020, Alexandre has served as a Special Advisor at IVADO and co-founded Cultivar AI in June 2019. Alexandre has been an Instructor at Fin-ML since May 2018 and held the position of Director of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton from September 2017 to December 2019. Earlier roles include Researcher in Deep Learning at Mila from January 2016 to August 2018 and Advisor in Risk Management at Desjardins from December 2010 to April 2017, focusing on counterparty and market risk. Alexandre also worked as a Consultant at Michael Page in 2010 and has experience as an Algorithmic Program Trader from 2008 to 2009. Between 2004 and 2008, Alexandre was an Investment Research and Policy Analyst at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, contributing to portfolio management and quantitative research. Alexandre holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Université de Montréal and a Master's degree in Financial Economics from HEC Montréal.
