Flavio Takaoka

Flavio Takaoka serves as the Diretor Clínico and Membro do Conselho Médico at Takaoka Anestesia since January 2023. Takaoka is also the Diretor Médico e Founder of Teller, a healthcare startup focusing on digitalizing and standardizing intra-hospital care, and Head de Saúde at BEEOTEC, a biotechnology firm leveraging Brazilian biodiversity. Additional roles include Membro do Conselho Médico at Alice and Fin-X, as well as Supervisor do Programa de Residência em Anestesiologia and head of the anesthesia service at Hospital Albert Einstein. Takaoka has significant prior experience, including as Presidente do Conselho de Administração at Takaoka Participações S.A. and as an anesthesiologist coordinator at Hospital-Dia Fleury. Educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Hemodynamics in Liver Transplantation and residency training in anesthesiology from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, where a Doctor of Medicine degree was also obtained.
