Maria Nefrou is a seasoned Managing Consultant at Finalyse since March 2016, currently serving as Product Owner for the Risk Weighted Assets Calculation tool, focusing on aligning credit risk strategies with regulatory requirements. Previously, Maria held roles including Project Manager for BCBS239 compliance and Business Implementation Manager for Credit Risk Models Redevelopment, demonstrating strong leadership in data management and regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes serving as a Market Risk Advisor at KBC Bank & Verzekering, where expertise in market risk analysis and regulatory capital calculations was developed. Maria holds a Master's degree in Financial and Actuarial Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Insurance Science from the University of Piraeus.
