Firuza Umarova

Firuza Umarova has extensive experience in project management and finance, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Notable roles include Senior Officer at Finance in Motion, which involved on-site operations and project management for the GGF and SANAD Technical Assistance Facilities, as well as analytical work in the Energy & Resource Efficiency Finance department supporting renewable energy investment in Southeast Europe and the Balkans. Prior experience includes contributions to the International Water Stewardship Programme at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and research roles at The University of Göttingen and the University of Central Asia. Firuza holds a Master of Science in Development Economics from The University of Göttingen and a Diploma of Education in International Economics from Tajik National University.
