Barry Delaney has over 25 years of experience in the financial services and marketing industry. Barry started their career at Irish Life, where they gained knowledge in sales and eventually transitioned to marketing. Barry then worked at Intuition Publishing, where they developed marketing plans for e-learning solutions in the financial services sector. At Bank of Ireland, Barry was responsible for marketing the Mortgage Store channel. Barry built a brand and marketing function from scratch at Haven Mortgages, leading to industry awards. As Head of Marketing at EBS Limited, they developed and drove the marketing agenda for the company and sat on the Group Marketing Leadership Team. Barry continued their career at Pepper Financial Services Group, where they served as Head of Marketing and Retail Sales, accountable for driving revenue and profitability in the residential lending business. Currently, Barry is the Head of Sales and Marketing at Finance Ireland.
Barry Delaney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Trinity College Dublin. Additionally, they have an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Techniques from Technological University Dublin. Barry is also an Accredited Product Advisor (APA) and holds a Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (QFA), both obtained from IOB.
